East Course

The par-70 East Course, designed by A. W. Tillinghast, was opened in 1926. With back-to-front pitched greens, limited water hazards and 96 bunkers, the East has received many honors, including the #41 ranking in Golfweek's 2013 list of "America's Top 100 Classic Courses (pre-1960)" and #1 in State of Maryland for both classic (pre-1960) and modern (post-1960) courses.
